Waylon E Clark

Waylon E. Clark, 31 of Monmouth, IL passed away at 2:55 am Thursday, December 20, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Waylon was born in Monmouth, IL on September 26, 1987, the son of Charles Eugene and Sandy Lynn (McKinzey) Clark.  He was raised and educated in Monmouth.

Waylon married Heidi R. Johnson in Monmouth, IL on August 18, 2018 and she survives.

Waylon worked for PSSI- Sanitation Service in Monmouth. He previously worked for the Monmouth Park District and Dick Blick in Galesburg.

He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing and working on bikes.  He loved animals and was always willing to help anyone at any time.

Survivors include his wife, Heidi Clark of Monmouth; his daughter, Brooklynn Renee Clark of Galesburg; his father, Charles E. Clark of Galesburg, his mother, Sandy L. (Rick) McGhee of Clinton, IL; 3 brothers, Donald W. (Rosa) Kinkaid of Gulfport, MS, Andrew McGhee and Zachary McGhee both of Clinton, IL; his sister, Alexis N. Walker of Galesburg; 5 step brothers and sisters; his grandparents, Mary J. (Leon) Morris of Monmouth; Step-father, Jim L. (Stephanie) Kinkaid of Gerlaw; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the Gerlaw Christian Church, Gerlaw, IL.  Friends may call one hour prior to the Celebration at the church.  Memorials may be given to the Brooklynn Renee Clark Education Fund.   McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
