Travis E. Hayburn

Travis E. Hayburn, 34, of Kirkwood, IL, passed away at 1:19 pm Thursday, April 18, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

He was born August 18, 1984 in Monmouth, IL, the son of David J. and Tammy F. (Elliott) Hayburn.  Travis was raised and educated in Kirkwood and attended Yorkwood High School.

Travis married Ashley L. Ettinger on October 23, 2010 at the Countryside Bible Church in Gerlaw, IL; she survives.

Travis owned and operated Hayburn Lawn Care and was a stay at home Dad, taking care of his children.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR and riding his motorcycle.  Travis was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

Surviving Travis is his wife, Ashley Hayburn of Kirkwood, IL; four children, Kaeden Eugne Hayburn, Quentin James Hayburn, Nevaeh Lynn Hayburn, Keagen Allen Michael Hayburn all of Kirkwood, IL.  Also surviving are his siblings, Matthew (Diamonique) Hayburn of Monmouth, IL, Aaron (Katrina Tatro) Hayburn of Abingdon, IL, Darcy (Rachel Hatch) Darnell of Galesburg, IL, Stephanie (Roger Teel) Cunningham of Monmouth, IL; his father, David J. Hayburn of Kirkwood, IL; his mother, Tammy (Teresa Middleton) Hayburn of Monmouth, IL; maternal grandmother, Juanita Schleich of Monmouth, IL; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, and maternal grandfather.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Center Grove Cemetery, Kirkwood, IL.  Memorials can be made to the Travis Hayburn Memorial Fund for his children’s education.
