Tom H. Schnetzler

Tom H. Schnetzler, 71, of Ocala, FL, passed away at 4:23 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Ocala Regional Hospital, Ocala, FL.

He was born on December 15, 1946 in Toledo, OH, the son of William and Vera (Hawk) Farnsworth.  Tom was raised and educated in Toledo.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Houston.

Tom married Roberta “Bobbi” Gerald on July 22, 1995 in Monmouth, IL, she survives.

Tom first taught elementary education for a time before going to work for Hardee’s.  He worked for Hardee’s for over 40 years and was currently working as a franchise business consultant.  Tom enjoyed collecting armadillos and loved going on cruises and traveling.

Surviving Tom is his wife, Roberta “Bobbi” Schnetzler of Ocala, FL; two sons, Christopher (Karen Weber) Schnetzler of Powell, OH, Jason (Tara) Schnetzler, MD, of Powell, OH; one daughter, Samantha (Clint) Jenkins of Lakenheath, England; four grandchildren, Estella Schnetzler, Lulu Schnetzler, Willa Schnetzler, and Samuel Jenkins.  Also surviving are two brothers, Jim (Lee Benson) Schnetzler of Jacksonville, FL, Mike Farnsworth of Toledo, OH; two sisters, Kathie Farnsworth of Toledo, OH and Margaret Stewart of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Rita Farnsworth of Toledo, OH, several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Howard Farnsworth.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.  Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials can be made to the Tom Schnetzler Memorial Fund.
