Todd B. Petri

Todd B. Petri, 51, of Peoria, IL, passed away at 5:24, p.m., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

He was born on February 20, 1967 in Monmouth, IL, the son of Harvey E. and Joyce M. (Cox) Petri.  Todd was raised and educated in Monmouth and graduated from Monmouth High School in 1984.

Todd married Melanie O’Donnell on June 9, 2017 in Peoria, IL, she survives.

Todd worked for the Illinois Department of Corrections at Henry C. Hill Correctional Center for over 30 years as a guard.  He loved music and was an avid sports fan.

Surviving him is his wife, Melanie Petri of Peoria, IL; two sons, Ryan (Kat) Petri of Oneida, IL, Austin Petri of Monmouth, IL; one daughter, Abigail (Jeff Colwell) Petri of Stronghurst, IL; two step daughters, Sydnee O’Donnell and Kayla O’Donnell, both of Peoria, IL; one brother, Brad Petri of Oglesby, IL; mother, Joyce Petri of Monmouth, IL, and grandchildren, Rayven Petri, James Petri, Bruce Petri, all of Oneida, IL, and Zoey Petri of Roseville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.  Interment will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria, IL.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service at noon.  Memorials can be made to the National Stroke Association.
