Theodore "Teddy" F. Munson, Jr.

Theodore F. “Teddy” Munson, Jr., 56, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 4:59 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home.

He was born on November 5, 1963 in rural Monmouth, IL, the son of Theodore F. Sr. and Bonny G. (Hasten) Munson.  He was raised and educated in Warren County, graduating from Warren High School in 1981.

Teddy was a Millwright with the Army Ordinance Plant in Iowa.

He enjoyed drag races, camping and fishing.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley M. Munson and his son, Justin N. (Casey) Munson both of Bourbonnais, IL; two grandchildren, Bentley Munson and Cora Munson.; his parents, Ted & Bonny Munson of Monmouth, IL and one brother, Chris (Jody) Munson of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emil & Dora Munson and Leo & Doris Hasten.

Cremation has been accorded.  A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be given to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
