S. Jeannine (Loquist) Patterson

S. Jeannine Patterson,84, of Monmouth, IL formerly of Alexis, IL died at 3:15 pm, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her home.

She was born August 21, 1936 in Galesburg, IL the daughter of Roy and Marie (Fairbanks) Loquist.  She was raised and educated in Alexis, IL, graduating from Alexis High School in 1954.

Jeannine married Lowell Patterson in Monmouth, IL on September 4, 1954 and he passed away August 6, 1986.

Jeannine worked as a phone operator for Galesburg Cottage Hospital from 1978 until she retired in 1998.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in North Henderson, IL. Her main interest and focus in life was her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Lair of Monmouth; granddaughter, Karmen (Kevin) Hopkins of Bettendorf, IA; 2 great grandsons; her brother, Rob Loquist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Wayne Patterson and Sterling Patterson; brothers, Richard Loquist, Mitch Loqiust Steve Loquist and Garry Loquist; and sister, Sharon Milner.

Cremation has been accorded.  No services are planned at this time.  Memorial may be given to the Zion Lutheran Church, North Henderson, IL and sent to the funeral home. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
