Sharon K. (Manley) Davis

Sharon K. Davis, 69 of Ocheyedan, Iowa passed away at 9:58am on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

She was born on April 4th, 1952, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of Francis and Dorothy (Kisling) Manley. Sharon was raised and educated in Fairfield, IA until her family moved to Monmouth, Illinois in 1966. Sharon later attended Worthington Community College and graduated with a degree in accounting.

Sharon married Robert L. Davis on May 29, 1971 in Monmouth, Illinois, he survives. She was a homemaker, loved taking care of her family. When she younger she worked at Dog and Sud’s in Monmouth, Illinois, for a time. She worked at Walmart for 15 years. She also worked at various fast-food restaurants, including Hardee’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, all in Worthington, MN.

Sharon was a homemaker, her hobbies were making jewelry, crocheting, playing games on her phone and iPad, she loved to go on cruises. She loved to be with friends and family, she loved gospel, and go to Christian music festivals.

Surviving is her husband Robert L. Davis of Ocheyedan, Iowa; one son Randy Davis of Worthington, MN; one daughter Shari Davis of Ocheyedan, Iowa; two sisters Donna, (Mark) Kjellander of Royce City, TX; Pam Manley of Vermilion, OH, one brother-in-law Donald Orr, two nephews Edward (Eddie) Orr, Jeremy Orr, all of Monmouth, Illinois, and two nieces Valena Orr of Monmouth, Illinois, Melody (Mike) Dvorak of Lonsdale, MN, one great niece Kayla Dvorak, three great nephews Jacob, Hunter, Zachary, all of Lonsdale, MN.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Francis D. Manley, Dorothy J. (Kisling) Manley, one son Robert L. Davis Jr; and one sister Linda Orr.

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the First Christian Church, Monmouth, IL.  Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, IL. Memorials can be made to the Sharon Davis Memorial Fund. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
