Ronald D. Fillman

Ronald D. Fillman, 75, of Kirkwood, IL. died at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his home.

Ron was born May 25, 1938 in Monmouth, IL the son of Alvin Y. and Mona I. (Shimmin) Fillman. He was raised and educated in Monmouth, graduating from Monmouth High School in 1956.

Ron was a retired auto and motorcycle mechanic. He enjoyed life and the great outdoors.

Survivors include his son, Cory Fillman; grandson, Nicholas Fillman; brother, Jay Coursey; along with nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gail and sister Valene.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, 1007 N G St. Monmouth. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
