Ronald M. Barry, 73, of Monmouth, IL died at 11:58 am Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his home.

Ronald was born November 13, 1944 in Peoria, IL the son of Raymond and Phyllis (Carnes) Barry. He was raised and educated in Monmouth.

He married Peggy Mettler in Alexis, IL.

Ronald worked at Western Stoneware in Monmouth as a Supervisor for many years. He also did some mechanic work on the side.

He enjoyed CB radios and playing the Lottery.

Survivors include his children, Theresa (Roberto) Barry-Siquin of Champaign, IL, Michael (Joyce) Barry and Robert (Trisha) Barry both of Monmouth; his grandchildren, Heather (Cortez) Spearman, Joseph (Hope) Barry, Ashley Barry, Marissa (Austin) Hartman, Tessa Barry, and Eric Barry; great grandchildren, Alicia Barry, Alexi Barry, Fidel Barry, Tavan Barry, Jakayla Brown and Naria Barry; his siblings, Patricia Barry, Marge Barry, Dan (Melva) Barry, Larry Barry, and Goldie Barry all of Monmouth and Tammy (Gary) Christianson of Roseville; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Timothy “Timmy” Barry.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Monmouth Cemetery. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be given to the Ronald Barry Memorial Fund c/o McGuire & Davies Funeral Home.
