Rebecca S. Carter

Rebecca S. Carter, 29, of Monmouth, passed away at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 28, 2014 at her home. Becca was born on August 12, 1985 in Peoria, IL; she is the daughter of Roger G. and Cindy L. Frantzen Carter. She was raised and educated in Monmouth; she graduated from Monmouth High School in 2006. Becca worked at Achievement Industries in Monmouth for the last 8 years. She was active in Special Olympics, Becca competed in Track & Field and Bowling. She was an avid NASCAR fan, she enjoyed to collecting Coke memorabilia, traveling, and her pets. Becca was dedicated to the Lord and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Monmouth. She is survived by her parents; Roger and Cindy Carter of Monmouth, one brother John (Shorty Woods) Carter, one sister Rachel (Mark Varnold) Carter both of Galesburg, IL, one Aunt Debbie Frantzen of Galesburg, and two Uncles; Robin Carter of Abingdon, IL, and Roy (Bev) Carter of Monmouth. Also surviving are two cousins; Ben Carter of South Carolina, and Daniell Carter of Southern Missouri. Becca was preceded in death by her grandparents. A Gathering of Family & Friends will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Memorials can be made to the Illinois Special Olympics.
