Patricia J. Talley, 68, of Monmouth, passed away at 9:07 a.m., Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

Pat was born March 17, 1947 in Monmouth IL, the daughter of Dale and Betty (McGee) Albert. She was raised and educated in Monmouth attending Monmouth High School.

Pat married Johnny Talley in Cameron, IL in July 1986 and he died in November 1996.

Pat worked as a line worker at Maytag in Galesburg for over 20 years before retiring. She also worked at Monmouth College in the Food Services Dept. for 8 years.

She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and watching movies. Her grandchildren were her life and she loved attending their many activities.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Lefort of Monmouth; granddaughter, Jessica Pettett of Monmouth; step granddaughter, Sara (Pettett) Bayless of Roseville, IL; step great grandchildren, Bradley Sheehan, Michelle Sheehan, Aunna Sheehan and Kayne Bayless all of Roseville; half-sister, Connie (Diane) Barber of Granite City, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Interment will be at Warren County Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Pat Talley Memorial Fund.
