Pamela Sue Long, 50, of Monmouth died at 11:01 A.M. Tuesday, August 19, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
She was born September 10, 1962 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Robert Ray and Sharon (Day) Munson. She was raised and educated in Monmouth.
Pam worked at Harding School in the cafeteria for many years.
Pam enjoyed reading, feeding and watching animals, playing games being around children, spending time with her grandchildren and with visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include her sons, Travis Lee (LaToya Newton) Long of Colorado Springs, CO and Aaron Darrell Fry of Monmouth; Significant other, Darrell Fry of Monmouth; mother, Sharon Munson of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Mariah Newton-Long and Jordyn Newton-Long both of Colorado Springs, CO.; brothers, David Day of Sand Springs, OK, Brad Munson of Royse City, TX; sisters, Mishelle Langston of Sand Springs, OK, Theresa Gangi of Colorado Spring, CO, and Bobby Munson of Kirkwood, IL.
Cremation has been accorded. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Pam's Home at 608 East Euclid Ave., Monmouth. A memorial fund has been established to be designated later.
