Norma J. Foockle

Norma J. Foockle, 81, of Monmouth, IL died at 1:30 am Monday, March 19, 2018 at the Knox County Nursing Home, Knoxville, IL.

She was born October 23, 1936 in Kewanee, IL the daughter of Anthony and Dorothy Marie (Griffin) Vlahovich. She was raised and educated in Kewanee, graduating from Kewanee High School.

Norma married Terrance Foockle on May 1, 1954 at Visitation Catholic Church in Kewanee and he died October 14, 2016.

Norma was a homemaker.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Monmouth. She enjoyed painting China and oils.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Schreck of Galesburg; son, Robert Foockle of Monmouth; 3 grandsons, Luke (Kalie Duncan) Schreck of Aledo, IL, Clinton (Tiffany) Schreck of Chesterton, IN and Travis (Kenzie Weir) Schreck of Monmouth; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Beverly (Doug) Miller of Cameron, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Gloria Harris.
