Mary E. Fry

Mary E. Fry, 55, of Monmouth, passed away at 3:50 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2016 at her home.

She was born on January 28, 1961 in Monmouth, the daughter of Luther and Patricia (Ricketts) Haynes. Mary was raised and educated in Monmouth and attended Monmouth High School.

Mary married Charles C. Blake. She later married Gerald E. "Jerry" Fry on February 14, 2004, he survives.

Mary was a homemaker. She worked for a time at Pinewood Nursing Home in the housekeeping department. Then she worked at the Heartland Nursing Home in Galesburg, IL. Mary also was the care giver for her parents. She attended the River of Life Church in Monmouth. Mary loved to crotchet, play bingo, and coloring. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving Mary is her husband Jerry Fry of Monmouth, her children; Charles "Chuck" (Chrissy) Blake, Jr. of Moore, OK, Tamera Blake of Monmouth, and Kris Blake of Monmouth. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Kaleb Wolf, Jakob Wolf, Chevelle Wolf, Maxamillion Sheehan, Corbin Blake, Tanner Blake, Mikaylah Blake, and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a few aunts.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation. Memorials can be made to the Mary E. Fry Memorial Fund.
