Mary N. Dunn

Mary N. Dunn, 77, of Bonita Springs, FL, Formerly of Oquawka, IL, entered eternal life on Wednesday, February 5, 2020.

Mary was born on September 25, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan. She spent the majority of her life in Oquawka, Illinois and most recently in Bonita Springs, Florida. On June 11, 1960 she married Clifford at the United Presbyterian Church in Biggsville, IL.

Mary lived a full life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, homemaker and worked 25 years in food service management. She loved to cook, play golf, go to yoga and was always actively involved in church and her community.  Most of all she loved her family and friends fiercely. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clifford and her two children, Melissa (Roy) Vestal and Clifford (Janel) Dunn, 8 grandchildren, Dan (Sunita) Ruse, Tiffany (Brandon) Jackson, Alison Aldrich, Logan (Brittny) Lease, Megan (Andy) Lorenson, Ariel Dunn, Clayton Vestal, Hannah Vestal and 12 great grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother, and father.

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Interment of her ashes will be in Oquawka Cemetery, Oquawka, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials can be made to the Henderson County Humane Society or to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
