Lois V. Haggenjos, 89, of Roseville, IL, died at 8:28 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2015, at the Roseville Rehabilitation and Health Center, Roseville.
She was born March 26, 1926, in Royal Oak, MI, the daughter of Ralph and Louisa (Yost) Desmond. She was raised and educated in Chicago, IL.
Lois married Vernon Haggenjos in Chicago on May 11, 1946, and he died Sept. 28, 2012.
Lois worked as a secretary for many various types of businesses. She loved to sew, read and, enjoyed theater work.
She attended Faith United Presbyterian Church and was a member of Chapter U of National T.T.T Society in Roseville, IL.
Survivors include her son, James (Kay) Haggenjos of Amboy, WA; daughters, Barbara Gossett of Roseville, IL and Carol (Alan) Settles of Aurora, IL; 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister, 1 niece and 1 son in law.
According to Lois's wishes, cremation will be accorded with burial in the Roseville Cemetery to take place at a later date. No visitation or services are planned. Memorials may be given to the Faith United Presbyterian Church, OSF Hospice, or the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are being handled by McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.
