Leatha May Wilson

Leatha May Wilson, 77, of Little York, Il died at 2:12 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Roseville Nursing Home.

She was born January 20, 1940 in Stonghurst, IL the daughter of Benjamin and Clara (Brentise) Shultz. She was raised and educated in Stonghurst and Monmouth.

Leatha worked in the laundry department at the former Pinewood Health Care Center in Monmouth and later the Knox County Nursing Home.

She enjoyed puzzle books, reading, watching television, especially her favorite show, Walker, Texas Ranger. She collected wolf related items and Elvis memorabilia. She also liked to make crafts.

Survivors include her son, Robert D. Wilson of Little York, IL; daughter, Ameda Wilson of Monmouth; 3 grandchildren, Robin Wilson, Robert Wilson and Joshua Wilson; 8 grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; 2 sisters, June Lasley and Gertrude Henson both of Galesburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
