Kevin D. Duncan

Kevin D. Duncan, 51, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, July 5, 2015, at his home. He was born on October 26, 1963 in Galesburg, IL, the son of Frank F. and Marion K. (Wagner) Duncan. Kevin graduated from Monmouth High School in 1981, and later graduated with an accounting degree from Southern Illinois University in 1992. Kevin worked as an accountant in the business office at Henry C. Hill Correctional Center in Galesburg. He also worked for several years at Morton Metalcrafters in Morton, IL. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monmouth. Kevin enjoyed playing golf, motorcycles, going hunting and fishing, and the Miami Dolphins. Kevin is survived by his mother Marion Duncan of Monmouth, two sisters Keri (Bryan) Osborn of Monmouth, and Kris (Gary Vail Jr.) Stull of North Henderson, IL. Also surviving are two nephews; Darrin Stull, Tyler Osborn, two nieces; Kayla Stull, Haley Osborn, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Interment will be in Warren County Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the Rainbow Riders Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center.
