Kandi J (Heinrich) Dunham

Kandi J. Dunham, 51, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 10:12 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

She was born on January 17, 1971, in Billings, MT, the daughter of Charles and Diane (Douglas) Heinrich.  Kandi was raised and educated in Danville, IA and later in West Burlington, IA.

Kandi married Sam Dunham on October 5, 1991, in Burlington, IA; he survives.

Kandi was a homemaker and a mother to all.  She loved taking care of her family and friends.  Most of all, Kandi just loved to be with her children, her grandson, and being a mother and counselor to so many others that she loved so well.  She was a member of Highpoint Church in Monmouth.

Surviving Kandi is her husband, Sam Dunham of Monmouth, IL; her children, Alex Dunham of Monmouth, IL, Madison Dunham of Monmouth, IL, Makenna Dunham of Monmouth, IL; grandson, Roman Dunham of Monmouth, IL; her parents, Charles & Diane Heinrich of Monmouth, IL; mother-in-law, Marilyn Dunham of Burlington, IA; her brother, Kirk (Terry) Heinrich of Topeka, KS; her sister, Kim (Joe) Howell of Burlington, IA.  Also surviving are several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Heinrich, paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.
