Jeffrey A. Fancher

Jeffery A. Fancher, 53, of Little York, IL, passed away at 6:35 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home.

He was born on March 3, 1965 in Monmouth, IL, the son of Larry and Diane (Russell) Fancher.  Jeffery was raised and educated in Illinois.

Jeffery married Katy Unger on March 27, 2010 in Monmouth, IL, she survives.

Jeffery worked as a carpenter all of his life, and he most recently worked for CGB.  He enjoyed drawing and tinkering with his tools.

Surviving Jeffery is his wife, Katy Unger of Little York; his children, Kevin Fancher, Kyle Fancher, Carla Fancher, Robert Fancher, Clark Fancher, Christian Fancher, Kindra Unger, and Logan Unger.  Also surviving is his mother, Diane Fancher of Galesburg, IL; brothers, Brian (Kimberly) Fancher of Galesburg, IL, Tim (Annie) Fancher of Monmouth; sisters-in-law, Jenny (Keith) Budd of Buffalo, IL, Cassie Unger of Knoxville, TN, Elaine Alvarado of Aledo, IL; mother-in-law, Doris Gillette of Pigeon Forge, TN; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Fancher.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  No services are planned at this time.  Memorials can be made to the Jeffery Fancher Memorial Fund, C/O McGuire & Davies Funeral Home.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, is in charge of the arrangements.
