Heather S Brownlee

Heather S. Brownlee, 42, of Aledo, Il passed away at 12:41 pm, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Wataga, IL.

She was born November 11, 1978 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Tom and Carol (Edwards) Brownlee.  She was raised and educated in Little York, IL graduating from Yorkwood High School in 1996. She later graduated from Carl Sandburg College with an A.A.S. Degree in Radiology Technology.

Heather worked at Maytag for several years until they closed at which time, she went back to school to get her degree.  She worked at Unity Point-Trinity in Muscatine, IA as a Rad-Tech.  She also worked for several years at Jigg’s in Alexis.

She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye fan. She also enjoyed hunting, going to concerts and reading a good book.

Survivors include her parents, Tom and Carol Brownlee of Little York, IL; her sisters, Kristen (Lucas) Michael of Monmouth, IL, Nikki (John) Mills of Little York, IL and Marissa (Wes) Ekstedt of Galva, IL; 2 nephews, Parker Mills and Wyatt Michael and 1 niece and another on the way, Kaylee Michael; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.
