Dorothy L. McKee

Dorothy L. McKee, 96, of St. Louis, Missouri and Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 12:20 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2017 at Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth, Il.

She was born on April 25, 1920 in Carlinville, IL, the daughter of William A. and Susie (Dams) Woods. She is survived by one son, Mike (Susan) McKee of Monmouth, IL; and one daughter, Sue Ann (John) Westhoff of Weatherford, TX. Also surviving are a grandson, Trent (Amy) Westhoff of West Palm Beach, FL; and three granddaughters, Paige Westhoff of Dallas, TX; Cathy (Roy) Kulenkamp of Carlinville and Beth Fullington of Carlinville; and six great grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by her good friend of 50 years, Ed Eisenberg of Bloomington, IL.

Dorothy graduated from Carlinville High School and Business School in St. Louis. Upon graduation she worked for Ralston Purina and two private businesses in the St. Louis area. She retired after working many years as an executive secretary for Western Lithoplate in St. Louis.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at a later date. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
