Dolores S. Prince

Dolores Shirley Prince, 86, of Lakeland, FL., died at 12:15 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at OSF Holy Family Medical Center, Monmouth

She was born May 23, 1928 in Rice Lake, WI, the daughter of George and Karolina (Ladman) Kohl. She was raised and educated in Rice Lake. Dolores graduated from Marquette University in 1948.

Dolores married Richard J. Prince on May 6, 1950 in Haugen, WI. and he died April 6, 2009.

Dolores was a dental hygienist in Eau Claire, WI. and Chicago for several years before taking on her most rewarding job as a homemaker and mother.

Survivors include her two sons, Richard (Lydia) Prince of Auburndale, FL. and Thomas (Allyse Marie) Prince of Monmouth, IL; 7 grandchildren, Richard Paul Prince, Teresa Dee Wolf, Justin French, Catherine Prince, Caroline Mather, Gabe Damiani and Ben Damiani; 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Caleb Prince and 2 sisters, Blanche Graven and Lorraine Fengler; one brother, Lloyd Kohl.

Memorial Mass will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Monmouth. Cremation has been accorded. Burial in Bohemian National Cemetery in Haugen, WI, will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to Bohemian National Cemetery.
