Denise I. (Ross) Martin

Denise I. Martin, 58, of Kirkwood, IL, passed away at 10:23 am, Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center, Galesburg.

She was born May 1, 1961 in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Okey L. and Billie (Hess) Ross.  She was raised and educated in the Yorkwood School District.

Denise married Henry Martin in Monmouth, IL, on August 2, 1980 and he survives.

She was a homemaker whose main interest was taking care of her family.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Martin of Kirkwood, IL; one son, Bill (Jodie) Martin of Monmouth and one daughter, Myranda Martin of Abingdon, IL; 3 grandchildren, Zayda Martin, Zander Martin and Belle Derry; her mother, Billie Ross of Monmouth and her brother, Mark (Shelly) Ross of Texhoma, OK; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Terry Ross.

Cremation has been accorded.  No visitation or services are planned at this time. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
