Carroll G. Trulson

Carroll G. Trulson, 67, of Monmouth, passed away at 12:10 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Roseville Rehab and Health Care, Roseville, IL.

He was born on December 27, 1946 in Galesburg, IL and is the son of Gene and Kathleen Anderson Trulson. Carroll was raised and educated in the Abingdon area and graduated from Abingdon High School in 1965.

Carroll first worked at Gunther Construction in Galesburg. In 1975 he started Trulson Concrete Construction that he owned and operated till his retirement in 2004. Carroll enjoyed fishing, hunting, and many friendships.

He is survived by his children; Michelle Kaywood, and Mark (Julie) Trulson both of Monmouth, grandchildren; Sara (Kyle) Bockelman, Mick Kaywood, Katie Kaywood, Morgan Froelich, Cole Froelich, Khloe Trulson, and Ashlyn Trulson. Also surviving are two great grandchildren Wyatt and Dylan Bockelman and one brother Frank Trulson of Galesburg.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Ogden Cemetery in Coldbrook Township. Memorials can be made to the Western Illinois Animal Rescue.
