Carole A. Griffee

Carole A. Griffee, 79, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 11:48 am, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth, IL.

Carole was born July 17, 1941 the daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Ryner) Griffee.  She was raised, educated and lived her entire life in Monmouth.

She worked for a time at the Monmouth Hospital and later Farm King.

Carole was a member of the Heritage United Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Lefler of Monmouth; one niece and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jeff Griffee.

Cremation has been accorded with a private interment to take place at Monmouth Cemetery.  No visitation or services are planned at this time.  Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and sent to the funeral home.
