Becky Ann Bendix

Becky A. Bendix, 64, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 11:34 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her home.

Becky was born March 12, 1957 in California, the daughter of Margaret A. Bendix.  She was raised and educated in Burlington, IA, and graduated from Burlington High School.  She later earned her LPN license from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL.

She worked Pinewood Nursing Home in Monmouth, IL for many years.  She later worked at Rosewood Nursing Home in Morrison, IL.  Becky enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends.  Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren.

Surviving Becky is her son, Calvin B. Bendix of Monmouth, IL; five grandchildren; one brother, Brian Greeson of Silverado, WY; one sister, Judy Schleis of Fermont, NE; special friends, Mary Dugen and Ray Swayzer.

She was preceded in death by parents, grandparents, and one brother, Steven A. Greeson

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life will be at a later date.  Memorials can be made to the Becky Bendix Memorial Fund. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.
