Barbara L. Wiley, 61, of Monmouth, IL died at 9:59 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at her home.

She was born on March 7, 1955 in McMinnville, Oregon, the daughter of Arthur and Carol Ann (Main) Kemplin. Barb was raised and educated in Oakhurst California, graduating from Sierra High School.

Barbara married Gary L. Wiley in Reno, NV on February 10, 1973 and he survives.

Barbara was a homemaker and mother of 6. She loved being a Mom.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Monmouth and Mothers to Mothers. She collected fairy statues and enjoyed crocheting and volunteering with Child and Family Services.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Wiley of Monmouth; children, Christina (Michael) Denison of Little York, Nash Wiley , Jamie (tom ) Pulliam, Jacob Wiley, Kristopher Wiley and Tristan DeCrane all of Monmouth; 10 grandchildren; 2 great granddaughters; 1 great grandson and 1 brother, Walter “Gene” (Janet) Kemplin of Oquawka; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Mothers to Mothers at the First Christian Church of Monmouth.
