Angel Jurado Nava

Angel Jurado Nava, 55, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 3:28 pm, Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago, IL

Angel was born October 31, 1965 in Mexico the son of Alberto Jurado and Juana Nava.  He was raised and educated in Mexico.

Angel married Elida Martinez in Monmouth, IL; and she survives.

He worked in construction as an electrician for 10 years and most recently for the last 15 years as a landscaper.

He enjoyed playing soccer.

Survivors include his wife Elida Martinez of Monmouth, IL; his children Luis David Jurado and Angel Gael Jurado both of Monmouth, IL and Miguel A. Jurado of East Moline, IL; his grandchildren, Angel A. Jurado, Yarytza Jurado and Moises Jurado; his parents, Alberto and Juana Jurado-Nava; his siblings, Alberto Jurado Nava, Maria de Los A. Jurado Nava and Eduardo Jurado Nava; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Jorge Jurado, Arturo Jurado and Francisco Javier Jurado.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL.  Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Monmouth, IL.  Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 pm, Wednesday at the funeral home.    For more information or to leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com .
