Allena L. (Nichols) Wilson

Allena L. Wilson, 66, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 7:26 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 at her home.

She was born on August 31, 1954 in Burlington, IA, the daughter of Gordon and Lois (Eaton) Nichols. Allena was raised and educated in Burlington.

Allena married Roger R. Wilson on January 25, 1972 in Monmouth, IL.

Allena was a homemaker and she loved to take care of her family.  She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed visits from her family and friends, her door was always open and the coffee was always fresh.

Surviving are her children, Regina (Jim) Spears, Jeanette Price, James (Michelle) Wilson Melanie (Jeff) Ainsworth, Calena (Matt Swiler) Wilson; two brothers, Dale Nichols, Harry Nichols; her sisters, Mary Deisinger, Karen Sparrow, Donna Hallengren; seventeen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, June Elliot, Martha Brag; two brothers, Bill Nichols, John Nichols; and her ex-husband, Roger Wilson.

Graveside Services will be at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, IL.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials can be made to the Allena Wilson Memorial Fund.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.  Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and requirements, all attendees are required to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
