Alicia B. Sharpe

Alicia B. Sharpe, 45, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 10:30 p.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017 at OSF Holy Family Medical Center, Monmouth.

She was born on July 24, 1971 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of David William and Delcie Ann (Barr) Sharpe. Alicia was raised and educated in Bozeman, MT.

Alicia was an avid reader, she enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and most of all, she loved to spend time with her family, friends, and pets.

Surviving Alicia are her four sons; Cuba Sharpe of Monmouth, IL, Tavis Colbrese of Oquawka, IL, Madison Lawrence of Utah, Josiah Sharpe of Hawaii, her parents; David and Delcie Sharpe of Lake Placid, FL, one sister; Heather Paul of Davenport, IA, and one aunt, Elaine Riser of Nashwauk, MN. Also surviving are three nieces, three great nephews, one great niece, and several close friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded. No services are planned at this time. A memorial fund has been established for her children’s education. McGuire and Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
